April - The NNYLN holds its first ever North Country Archival Conference at the Cheel Center, Clarkson University, Potsdam. The guest speaker is NYS Archivist Christine Ward.
Remodeling work is conducted at the NNYLN's 7 Commerce Lane building in Canton in preparation for a new tenant.
May - The NNY Library Network celebrates its 45th anniversary during the Annual Meeting held in Lake Placid. The 20th Annual Award for Excellence in Library Service is presented to Marc Boyer of the Ogdensburg Public Library. The Annual Meeting also included a first-ever mini-conference.
The North Country Digital History site gets updated with a fresh new look.
June - The 2010 Award for Outstanding Students in Network Member Libraries is given to Jennifer Adams of St. Lawrence University, Benjamin Lyons of Paul Smith's College, and Wander Morrobel of SUNY Plattsburgh.
The NNYLN initiates a competitive Technology Service Improvement Grant pilot program for its members.
October - The NNYLN holds its second annual fall conference, 2010: "Trends & Technology" at St. Lawrence University, Canton. The guest speaker is nationally acclaimed speaker Marc Pitman.
- The NNYLN completes the scanning of St. Lawrence University's yearbooks. A total of 91 yearbooks, consisting of 17,966 images of the "Gridiron" are added to the North Country Digital History site.
February - The Northern New York Historical Newspapers site hits milestone with the addition of 2.2 million pages, and over 50 newspapers. The site was started six years ago.
March - The NNYLN completes the scanning of SUNY Potsdam's yearbooks. Over 100 years of history with a total of 10,911 images from Potsdam Normal School and SUNY Potsdam "Pioneer" yearbooks are added to the North Country Digital History site.
April - The NNYLN's Second Annual North Country Archives and Special Collections Conference: "Efficiency, Effectiveness and Education" is held at the Crown Plaza Resort in Lake Placid.
May - The NNY Library Network celebrates its 46th anniversary during the Annual Meeting held in Alexandria Bay. The 21st Annual Award for Excellence in Library Service is presented to Yvonne Reff of Flower Memorial Library.
June - The 2011 Award for Outstanding Students in Network Member Libraries is given to Josh Fitzgerald of Paul Smith's College, Harriet Pedersen of Saranac Lake Free Library, and Heather Myers of SUNY Plattsburgh.
October - Technology Service Improvement Grants are awarded by the NNYLN to: Canton Public Library, Jefferson Community College's Melvil Dewey Library, SUNY Oswego's Penfield Library, Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System, Flower Memorial Library in Watertown, Massena Public Library, St. Lawrence-Lewis School Library System, and Champlain Valley Educational Services School Library System.
- The NNYLN holds its 2011 Fall Conference "Progress & Plugging In" at SUNY Potsdam. Guest Speaker Stephen Abram discusses "Mega Trends for Libraries."
