Toward the achievement of these goals, the libraries make available to students and faculty over 1.6 million items, including more than 590,000 books, approximately 400,000 government documents, 951 print and 5,000 Ejournal subscriptions, and over 6,500 videos. In addition to these local print resources, the libraries provide access to the world’s scholarship by means of a library Web page that connects to collections and resources available through the internet. It is possible to search more than 100 networked bibliographic databases as well as over 20,000 online periodicals from any location on or off campus.
